Sincerely, Robert Ganczorz General Manager Quiet hotel, close to the Rhine, conveniently located to enter downtown Mainz, attentive and efficient staff, royal breakfast, clean (bath)room, excellent service (a left parcel was sent to my home for free!! Kind regards Robert Ganczorz General Manager Visited Mainz to meet up with a friend and booked to stay here in the Ibis. Single männer aus hannover Very easy to get to from Frankfurt Airport - the S-bahn took approximately 25 mins to Mainz-Römisches Theater station then a short walk down to the hotel.Only 5 minutes from the old city, 5 minutes from the river, 2 minutes from the railway station and 10 minutes from the shopping centre.Stayed for 3 nights to visit family, very clean and typical Ibis hotel staff friendly and location excellent for trains and the town centre wifi provided, well placed hotel but coming from Australia the no in room coffee and tea facilities really let it down for us, not used to that robertganczorz, Manager at Ibis Mainz City, responded to this review Dear guest!
Single bars mainz
Which took me a while to work out and I had to go back to reception to ask them, which then only prompted them to give me a coin that would open the gate.Similarly, with the door key that need to be inserted in a wall mount in order to make the electricity in the room work, no explanation for that either. Our stay started off badly, having been refused a room by staff as we were not on their system, 24 hours later and they admit they made a mistake and we received free breakfast and drinks as a result. The location is excellent for business or leisure trips in Mainz. The staff was also helpful as I stayed in the City on 25 Dec., which I didn't expect any restaurant would open on that day. I am staying at this hotel pretty often when i am traveling to mainz for business. The location of the hotel is perfect: 2 minutes to a train station and it is in a center of the city near by many good restaurants. Best to take one at the back although it is double glazed.
However, the staff checked the available option for me and gave some constructive advices. Comfy beds, normal size pillows (don't laugh, try sleeping on square pillows like in other hotels in Mainz) breakfast has good selection, and aircon for those hot days. There is a nice terrace at the back for when it is hot.Booked as part of a cycling trip along the Rhine and as far as getting me my bike and the info that I needed for my trip the hotel was very helpful and friendly.Hotel and room itself not very exciting, a very small and hot single room (no A/C), with a tiny bathroom and not in a very exciting part of the city.Check in was very efficicient and I was soon in the room. The room itself was a decent size with an extremely comfy bed. Could have done with a few more towels but got these from reception with no problem. I chose to breakfast there and it was the usual European style of cold cuts, cheese, rolls etc.
